Honors College

Give a Howl 2025 is here! make your gift today to support any area of the Honors College at the University of West Georgia.

Give a Howl: Donate. Share. Shape the Future!

The University of West Georgia is excited to launch Give a Howl, our spring crowdfunding campaign from Monday, April 14 through Monday, April 28! This is your chance to make a direct impact on the future of UWG by supporting the college or school that means the most to you. Whether you're a proud graduate of the Honors College or another area of UWG, your gift will help shape the experiences of our students and inspire the next generation of Wolves!

The best part? There’s a friendly competition between each college and school to see who can raise the most funds by the end of the campaign! So, make your donation, spread the word, and share the Give a Howl campaign with your social networks.  Let's show our Wolf Pack pride and come together to make a difference!

Your gift – no matter the size – helps UWG thrive and ensures the success of current and future students. Let’s donate, share, and shape the future

We're howling for these accolades of the Honors College:

As an undergraduate, Jennifer Scott had the opportunity to present her research at the Southern Anthropological Society Annual Meeting, showcasing her dedication to exploring human cultures and societies. Opportunities like these prepare Honors College students for graduate study, research careers, and leadership roles.

Few students embrace as many opportunities as Lina Martinez Montero. She has earned several competitive scholarships, including the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grant, Soar to Success Accounting Scholarship, and the Coca-Cola Foundation Scholarship for Study Away. Beyond academics, she serves as President of the Management Club and Vice President of the French Club. Her passion for international business and cultural engagement led her to a Cultural Immersion Program in Puerto Rico, and she is also certified as an Assistant Administrator in Mexico.

Honors College students are making their mark through research presentations at prestigious conferences:

Delight Okere presented at GURC 2024 (Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference).

Tian Green represented UWG at NCUR 2024 (National Conference on Undergraduate Research)

Every scholarship, research opportunity, and global experience is made possible by generous donors. When you Give a Howl, you help Honors College students reach their full potential, ensuring they continue to excel in academics, leadership, and beyond.
