Institution of First Choice for Georgia Educators: On its 50th anniversary, the College of Education is the largest college of education in Georgia and one of the largest public university colleges of education in the United States.
The College of Education marks the 10th anniversary of both the Simulations Lab and the Fusion Center, established in 2014.
#1 Choice for Georgia Educators: The UWG College of Education is the top choice for Georgia educators seeking certification upgrades. In 2023, 1 of 5 of Georgia’s 4,786 educators who pursued certifications or certifications upgrades chose UWG.
