We're howling for these accolades of the Tanner Health School of Nursing:
Dr. Cindy Johnson has dedicated her career to guiding the next generation of nurses. As the Assistant Dean of the Experiential Learning Center and an Associate Professor, she plays a key role in shaping UWG’s nursing program. Her commitment to mentoring students was recognized when she received the Alumni Award for Nursing Excellence in Mentoring from the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University.
Research plays a critical role in improving patient care and nursing education. This year, three UWG Ed.D. students presented their work at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Transform 2024 conference. Their research, An Online RN-to-BSN Curriculum Grounded in Caring Science, focuses on innovative ways to prepare nurses for the workforce.
